Our History
In 1997, after working 37 years in the aircraft instrument industry, Larry Ahlers assembled a team of highly experienced engineers and technicians to form what is now known as Ahlers Aerospace, Inc. Today, our team represents almost a quarter millennium of combined professional experience in manufacturing and design.
Mr. Ahlers saw that many of the OEM’s and conversion companies were struggling to find a reliable manufacturer of aircraft engine and system monitoring instruments. He knew that there was an immediate need for durable, high quality, reasonably priced components that were delivered as promised.
Aircraft instruments and components manufactured by Ahlers Aerospace, Inc. have amassed a record that is second to none for quality and reliability. Every day, all over the world our instruments and components are earning the reputation of being the best in the business. Whether your fleet is operating in the Arctic, Antarctic, Sahara Desert or the jungles of South America, our rigorously designed instruments and components have already passed the test with flying colors.
With such a highly experienced and skilled team on board, Mr. Ahlers realized that it was only natural to offer instrument and component repair services to our customers. Our repair and overhaul business has now grown to not only include instruments. Our current capabilities list offers fast, quality service on items such as: fuel quantity sending units, solenoid valves, fuel pumps, hydraulic pumps and starter generators, just to name a few.
